Bio
Riki Parikh is a second-year law student at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law and is currently working as a summer associate at Holland & Hart LLP in Denver.
He previously served as deputy press secretary and director of digital communications for U.S. Senator Mark Warner (D-VA). Prior to Senator Warner’s election in 2008, he served as the deputy new media director on Warner’s campaign and on the communications and Internet teams for Warner’s Forward Together PAC.
Prior to joining Warner’s Senate campaign, he was an associate writer for National Journal’s The Hotline, and was blog editor and research assistant at the Institute for Politics, Democracy, & the Internet at GW.
In 2004, Riki helped create The Daily Colonial, a daily online student publication, and helped to establish its news department. He served as its editor-in-chief in 2006.
He graduated from The George Washington University with a degree in political science and international affairs. Originally from Harriman, N.Y., Riki went to high school in Flemington, N.J., and currently considers Forest, Va., his home.
